Batirol is a Cebuano term which refers to the traditional pot and stirring rod used to prepare a hot chocolate drink.
Traditionally, batirol-made hot chocolate is made of tablea (cacao tablets) and is prepared right in front of the customer. I haven't seen an actual batirol in person yet and I'm not sure if Tsoko•Nut Batirol uses one. The place is small but pleasant. A perfect place to wind-down after a long day (or, in our case, night).
I ordered a large size of the Tsokolate-Ah Batirol which was around Php90, if I remember correctly.
Anyway, It didn't seem like I was given watered-down hot chocolate because this tsokolate-ah was so rich and creamy and oh so yummy!
